Custom Label Layout Instructions
LAYOUT
- Layout must be submitted in both AI and PDF format
- Only design in designated yellow print area (white for Canada template)
- CMYK colors or a maximum of 4 PMS colors must be used
- Identify can substraight (ex: background or aluminum)
- Convert type to outline paths or provide fonts with files
- Attach all source files
FLATTENED FILES
We will not accept any files that are still native to the application used to create it. You are welcome to use any application you prefer, but we can’t accept the file if it will only open in that application. In other words, if you used Microsoft Word, we cannot accept the .doc file, but we can take a properly created PDF OR AI from that file. If using a program like Photoshop, you must FLATTEN LAYERS before saving.
ACCEPTED FILE FORMATS / FILE COMPRESSION
PDF, AI, EPS
If you use any image compression to shrink your files you will risk degrading print quality. Zipping or Stuffing a file before sending however is recommended. |
